Jennifer Cayley
Jennifer has been telling stories professionally for more two decades. Her repertoire includes traditional, epic, literary, historical and personal material. Career highlights include: collaborating with Jan Andrews on performances that toured to Rome, Australia, Wales, the USA and southern Ontario; travelling to the Talk Story Festival in Hawaii; making regular appearances at the Ottawa StoryTellers National Arts Centre series; working with Jan Andrews on producing extended epic pieces; telling at festivals across Canada. Jennifer believes passionately that stories are important to all of us as we struggle to understand the shape and meaning of our lives. Her aim is always to make the profoundly simple contact between teller, story and listener richly alive. She is also dedicated to bringing traditional stories to young people in school and community settings. She is currently available for school visits through MASC ( www.masconline.ca ).
